HOT Link prevention

Can we do something like hot link prevention ??

I have noticed when we add pictures in articles we can nicely upload them and use them AWASOME! Better would be if they would be called with something to prevent hotlinking. To put hotlink prevention on my server is ALWAYS causing more grieve than pleasure.

You can see the image is called through PHP and avoids hot linking totally.

Perhaps we can do something the same as IPB does in their forums to prevent hot linking.

odd, last week when I tried it in setup I couldn’t get it linked.

Guess I better pick up a bottle of wine and get a bit light headed. No need for me to stay sober anymore

Your best bet will be from .htaccess command.
Try to google around a little bit. There is a solution to block images to be accessed outside your current domain.

It involves Mod_Rewrite. You might want to start there (assuming Apache is your web server).

You might also want to try checking HTTP_REFERER
