Hi all, it seems to me that everybody have been giving a lot of good suggestions about our repository. I would love to see them being listed in here, so when we are working on the repository, we know what needs to be done to have a good repository that will be useful for the community. Please start posting your wishlist, and if somebody willing to help me update the current features list or wish list, it will be awesome.
Added: When sombody keep track of the listing, I will bubbled it up to the front page, so it will ensure effectiveness in the discussion

- uses the same forum login for adding to a resource or creating a new one (single sign on)
- keeps all versions in the "thread" around a module/plugin/snippet/chunk/tip/whatever
- supports resource listings in multiple categories ("tags")
- tracks download numbers
- supports comments possibly
- supports ratings possibly
- Optional Items in the installation procedure should be imported from a repository database on the MODx site and not in the package.
- Modules, Snippets, Plugins, Chunks & Templates come from the repository by defualt to ensure the latest OFFCIAL versions are provided, however you should also be able to give it a directory to locate them in case you are setting it up in a non internet enviroment (say intranet)
- A thumbnail or preview for templates? I’m just affraid it will make the listing way too long.
