    I like the possibility to create friendly domain names with ModX. I use it to give my documents the name blahblah.htm, but the problem is that the CSS Files, which I’ve integrated into the document manager (so they’re in the DB, not somewhere in a directory) also have this extention ".htm"

    It would be great if the extention could be altered specifically for each doc type. So stylesheets would have the suffix .css, webpages are displayed as ".htm" or what ever.

    you’re great!

    best wishes,

    Thiemo

        Hi Thiemo, that’s tentatively on the list for 0.9.2. Here’s a workaround in the interim:

        Name your CSS file "mycss.css" as an alias. Turn on friendly URLs (this is the required part). Call the file as normal from your tempalte(s):
        <link href="/blog.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

        That’s exactly what we do in fact in our blog and it works great! If you call an page by JUST it’s alias without the appended extension, it loads just fine. SImilarly, you can call a page by just appending the Page ID to the end when FURLs are on, e.g.: mysite.com/123
