I just had to come in and pour praise over everyone involved in this fine product!

I am currently implementing a MODx system for the first time after the suggestion of a colleague, and I’ve only been using it for around a week but am just stunned at how great it is.

I know a little bit of PHP to tinker, and have been doing websites for many a year, and MODx allows someone with ’just enough’ knowledge to do so much.

I implemented two Wordpresses last year (converting one after trying Moveable Type), and it was a battle all the time. I do like Wordpress, but it (like most software) is based around what it thinks you should do. MODx is the reverse, it’s an enabler. I always have specific ideas about what I want to do, and every time I have something very specific in mind I fear the "it can’t do that response"... but it hasn’t happened yet. Every time MODx allows me to do it.

So I wanted to say thank you to everyone behind the project. smiley

Only thing now is I really want to rip out those Wordpress sites and MODx them!

MODx is amazing - I’ve been using it for about a year or so now. There’s nothing that I’ve wanted to do that I couldn’t make happen. And with Revo, it’s even better!

Glad you love it. And the community is amazing too.

      Enjoy.

You are quite welcome! Thank you for the kind words, and welcome to the MODx Community.

BTW, you don’t seem very hostile on first impression. wink

I never use the Quick Manager, my clients understand quickly the back-end manager so... it’s actually annoying to see it blinking during the mouse over. :p
