Hello,
I am new to MODx but am excited to start using it as a CMS. I have spent the last week reading over MODx and looking at various implementations. We are putting together an ecommerce site and integrating foxycart with our MODx solution. My question is as follows:
I want my cart to function similar to the implementation found at
http://www.gourmetbodytreats.com/shop
with a listing of categories on the left and then a display of the products in those categories on the right side. (I also like the block div when you hover over the shop link, but that can come later) Can someone get me started in the right direction as to how to accomplish this within the MODx framework. I imagine it is the use of ditto and possibly template variables but a short example or some brief discussion regarding how this can be accomplished would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance
