titles made of images

I want this http://thresholdstate.com/software/3704 it replaces text with text made of images.. you can specify the font, etc etc... it's great.. at the moment is made for textpattern..

This is a really cool idea
Downloaded it to see how they did it but the source code is encrypted
Says GLP though

Try this instead

It's not encrypted, just encoded with base64. You can get it decoded here eg.

If you're looking for something that generates headers in good looking fonts on the fly, you really should investigate sIFR. It converts fonts to flash and dynamically replaces certain elements on the page in those specific fonts. You don't have to do anything other than tell it what fonts you want replaced. See it in action at EHT, where it's the red headers everywhere.

maybe we are talking about my first snippet for modx...

I personally prefer sIFR 2.0 to do this. Have you seen it? Very slick.

See http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/archive/2005/02/sifr-2.0-release-candidate-4

Edit: That's what I get for leaving my reply window open for 2 hours before I hit "Submit": rthrash beats me to the punch!

:lol:

Absolutely LOVE this idea. We can really differentiate ourselves form other CMSs with this...

From a sales perspective - this would be a real break-thru.

Please please please

I know the last post was in april 2005, but I was wondering if anyone has made any progress with sIFR. I would love to implement it, but every time I try I get some knid of error.

Maybe that’s because of the

//GTEXT Snippet
//Version 1.0, 30 january 2006
//Adrianus Warmenhoven
//
//Used to create images out of text using a TrueType Font.

I have it installed and it works quite well.
