I’m using a date template variable. I want to use ditto (and reflect) to arrange the content by my date TV, instead of the the default createdon date. I’m also doing some other things with that date parameter.

My problem is that I can’t get the TV to write the date as a unix time stamp. The TV Input Type is set to "Date" and the Widget is set to "Unixtime" but it still writes the mySQL entry as D-M-Y H:M:S.

What gives? Is there some binding something-or-other that I need to make use of to get it to write the unix time stamp?

Do you have &sortBy, &dateSource and &dateFormat in your ditto call?
      &sortBy=`myDate` &dateSource=`myDate` &dateFormat=`%d %b %Y`
