I suppose we should expand our selection of editors to include FCKeditor. I believe the knowledge for integrating this already exists at the mothership, so I'll volunteer to get this working, if no one has objections to bringing this into the project. It really does look like the best of HTMLArea and TinyMCE from what I can tell.

FCKeditor will be in (with some cool default menu bars set up).

[*content*] will be just another TV.

        Life will be good. wink

Could you also implement Spaw editor (http://sourceforge.net/projects/spaw/)

I like this editor cause it hase great table manners hehe

you can do anything with a table a you could do in word also the image browser can be more than 1 location to choose from a pulldown menu

but most of all the table options I used HTMLArea but there is not a good working table toolset tiny is alo not working well and I did not see the funktion delete a cell or merge a cell or add a cell in FCKeditor.

I know that it work on IE and Firefox on windows I do not know if it works on a Mac

[edit] I have to take back my words looks like FCKeditor does a great Job using content menu sorry but Spaw is still a nice extra option to use) [/edit]

This is currently supported. See the access permission section when editing a TV

FYI, I have the latest and greatest versions of TinyMCE and FCKeditor integrated into MODx. They both work for saving content, as well as TV's, and are both available for use in front-end richtext TV controls. We'll have this in a technology preview release available very soon.

Now, to add some new configuration options based on the new capabilities in these latest versions!
