I was looking at that page earlier today and forgot to remove a getFeed call from the page on save. Since there was no &tpl defined on the call it returned the array.
As a sidenote, as far as I can tell Google in all their wisdom doesn’t send the Start Date and Time as a time stamp with their event feeds but only the the publish date. Kind of useless for a calendar app. It can be retrieved using the API but that seems like a bit of work.
