Timeframe on modx revolution be ready for production environment?

Hello,

I know that at this momment modx revolution is on its RC1 version, but from what i see this is still a beta version (beta 5), correct?

So does anyone knows the roadmap / timeframe for the release of a production environment ready / stable / final version of modx revolution?

Revolution is currently in a release candidate state. I will say that RC 1 is still an early release candidate (with a good number of issues), but the core development team has just started to encourage people to use it in production environments, and with good reason. It can produce great, stable sites.

That said, Revolution still lacks a number of features and third party components. I think the question now is not whether or not it’s ready for a production environment. It’s ready. The question is if Revolution currently has the components and features you need or if you have the resources to develop the components and features you need.

Revolution 2.0.0 is currently in RC-1 status, with a RC-2 release out very soon.

We expect RC-2 out in the next week or two, and then RC-3 out by June 15th-July 1st, and then GA out by July 22nd.
