Actually, though Jay wont admit it, we’ll be launching a slew of new social services:

    • modHarmony - Dating for modx enthusiasts. Allows dating multiple people via DateContexts, one-click gift ideas via "Gift Package Management", and the popular way to end ones that didn’t work out: "Breakup Chunks".
    • modChirp - Say what you want to the world in 28 characters or less. When that girl you like chirps "whr u be 2day i wnt 2 tell u...", modChirp will always keep you coming back for that elusive 2nd chirp that didnt fit in the first one.
    • modWalla - Not only will modWalla let you tell people where you are at any given time, it will also allow you to tell them exactly what you are wearing: right down to the skimpies. Got beagles on your boxers? No problem. modWalla handles it. Also, a newly added feature allows you to find similarly dressed people in your area. Find those hidden beagle lovers near you.
    • modYouPipe - Just like the popular video channels, except better. We allow picture-in-picture translation services by your favorite celebrities, called "Celebixcons". Free translation into Dutch, Chinese and Duck-billed Platypus by Tracy Morgan included for new subscribers.
    • and more...

We told you there were big things in store for modx...

So MODx will be funded by surreptitiously selling our personal information, gathering private info while "mapping" wifi, and spilling 10’s of gallons of lime jello into our coastal waters? shocked

      Ok... maybe not...

          Shaun,

You shouldn’t have spilled the beans. Now TechCrunch is going to get a hold of all our secret plans. >:(

Susan, as soon as I saw the word quilt I knew who it was.

I will be closing the survey today and will be discussing the rationale in more detail.

          Cheers,

          Jay

And by the way I prefer red flavored jello. Does anybody really like lime? How about the celery-flavored, for making jello salads?

Oh, no, we wont ’surreptitiously’ sell your info. We’ll tell you beforehand we will, but our crack PR team will convince you to use the services anyway. And if you dont, well, who doesn’t like a little Jello in their house’s plumbing?

When will we see the modPods, modPhones, modTouches, modStations, modBoxes, modiis and, of course, the modPads? And will these devices work outside of metropolitan areas covered in lime jello?

Thanks all who completed the survey. It is now closed.

The survey was an informal unscientific way to get to know a little bit about what some of our users and community members like to possibly aid in our future marketing efforts. It is not meant to be a literal road map for how we ’ll do things.

I’ll post some of the actual stats later on this week but here is a start.
