On the resources page, it shows the authors name with a link to their SMF profile page.
It would be great to have another link "Other resources by this author" that would filter for all the resources by that author.

Good idea, about adding the link. In the meantime, you can go the view all resources page, and at the bottom click on change results. There is a filter option there for author.
