ROFLOL. I love it.... you should see the replies from Twitter. I’ll share some later.
I will honestly tell you that I think I met my husband over one of those sites. It had a MIDI of "My Sharona" AND every bell and whistle....blinking scrolling text, etc, the works. ...at the time. It was called brainjello. He later made a cool Flash site to replace it.
I also built several for some MUSHes.
I do believe I built something on Geocities at some point. I am very happy to say that I have no idea what it used to look like; would probably be embarassing
