Help with CSS in Safari/Chrome

HI,

I have a very, extremely simple web page at www.ecocreto.com.mx

it has three columns created with a CSS framework and in the
first column I have text and in the next two I have photos.

Everything is ok in FF, Opera, Konqueror, even IE 7/8 !!!
but in Safari and Chrome the text disappears!! Why?

Anybody know why?
How can I fix it?

I totally forgot about that, that is the problem when you just
copy the stylesheets from other projects...

now my question is, why it does not happen in other browsers?

You probably have colors set elsewhere in the CSS, and they’re calculating the specificity of the statements differently.

Some settings only apply to certain browsers. I have had that problem with Explorer when copying stylesheets but never with Safari. I think the other browsers just read the code differently and look in different spots for the text color.
