All I can say is that when I tried Firefox after my email viewing in IE got extremely slow, I never looked back. I hear a lot of good things about chrome.

I used Firefox since the very first beta, and used to love it. But since Google Chrome got even better (and it happends every day) I’ve been using it since then.

The fastest browser is Opera 11 at the moment. But Opera is not the browser for everyone. You have to love it...
Chrome (9b) is very fast but still not as fast as Opera (yes, you’ll really recognize a difference) but it has great plugins.
I don’t use Firefox anymore but 4beta is very good!

I tried Chrome a few times but coming from Opera it’s like using a text based browser: so many things are missing ! How can one use such a browser when there is no way to open several bookmarks at once ? When you need to browse menus and sub menus to find your bookmark ?
Opera recently introduced extensions too, so those who were complaining about it should be satisfied now.

Tried to install the latest Opera on my OS X machine; it puts two icons in the dock and refuses to go away (even with a kill -9 from the terminal). When it’s running, other things get flaky. So I’ll stick to my FF, thank you.
