I just thought I’d share this with you guys in case anybody is interested.
SwagBucks (full disclaimer: that’s my referral link) is a search engine that pulls results from Google and Bing, I think, and every so often it awards you SwagBucks. When you reach 450, you can get a $5 gift card for Amazon. You also get matched SwabBucks from referrals up to 1000 per person, so I just referred a few relatives and have it as my default search engine, and now every few weeks I cash in my points for a gift card.
The results aren’t nearly as convenient or accurate as just using Google, but if you don’t mind it, it’s something to try out. It’s nice to get $5 here and there to spend at Amazon, and it feels like it adds up pretty quickly.
If you do sign up, don’t bother searching just to win. You only get awarded maybe 3 times a day (7-11ish each time), and it’s actually a bit predictable. Just use it like you would Google.
