Ideas to build music website/portal with ModX.

Hi there.
I am about to build website, actually kind of secial website, about music. The site will consist of homepage and four subpages:
+HOME
+music
-news
-gallery
...
-download
+bboyz
+graffiti
+djing

Homepage using dittos will aggregate the most importat information from its subpages. Important information to be placed on homepage will be marked by subpage’s admin from modx backend. Each subpage will have its own subpages like for example "news", "gallery", "download" etc. Each subpage will have individual admin(s).

I am thinking how to build this site in most efficient way. For now I have two ideas:
1. create website with subpages as a subfolders of root modx folder.
2. set up modx for each subpage

What is your opinion?

If you’re talking about having multiple MODx installations for several sub-pages, I’d say that’s a bad way to go. Just use a single MODx install to handle all of them.
