Thought I’d drop by and ping you all to say that contrary to what I thought, the end of my drupal gig (yeah I know...) didn’t mean returning full throttle to modx (not even low throttle at the moment). It’s been a long "no show" streak for me here and I thought I’d have some availability by now but opportunities came along and bam, it’s even worse than before !
I am - of course - in no way dropping modx (still have a dozen client sites running this amazing CMS), especially when so many exciting and fun things are happening right now both with Evolution and Revolution (kudos to the team and community for keeping the ball rolling !). I look forward to testing revo beta 4 (or RC1 if it beats me to testing it) and I keep in touch with the community’s news thanks to twitter
I unfortunately have no time to do any testing or contributing right now, since I have accepted a full time contract for the next 3 months (in the client offices - quite a game changer for availability) as project manager with very talented people on quite a big/complex e-commerce project. Working on a big scale project with a 10+ team is quite a change from freelancing on solo small/medium sized projects believe me ! It’s a great challenge and learning experience
I hope I can return to contributing to the modx community soon, I miss you guys !
