How do I collect an email and then re-direct to a new page for downloads

I’d like to make available an eBook on my site. I want to collect an email address and then send the person to a page to allow the download. How would I best do this? I’d like to export the email addresses.

Also, is it possible to count the number of times a document has been downloaded?

i’m sure you can write ( if it hasn’t been done yet ) a script to to export the email addresses
