I found this kind of interesting. I see that my home town in Minnesota is a major spam factory.

WOW, the USA is by far the worst source of spam (followed by UK and Germany), over 2X China. In general the blame is put on developing nations with loose laws.
The data may be skewed by the fact that Mollom.com is in English and most account holders probably have English-language sites, although there’s a lot of spam coming from Eastern Europe and a shocking amount (per capita) coming from what appears to be Belgium.
