Can forum posts be deleted?

This is a test message to see if I can delete a post of mine.

Apparently I can not delete my own post.

No you can’t delete a thread, but I believe you can delete your own post (can’t say for sure, I have long been a moderator and I don’t use SMF that much as an admin).

I am not an admin here so I wouldn’t know if you need a certain number of post to be able to do that though.

Please ask a moderator if you need to remove a thread.

Before there were any replies (thread), I tried to use the "remove" option and I got this error:

An Error Has Occurred!
You cannot delete your own topics in this board.

I don’t need to delete anything specifically, I was just checking in case I post something by mistake or that I regret.
