Moving

I’m moving out of this apartment tomorrow. My apartment isn’t finished yet, still another few days of odds and ends to do. So I’m moving into another smaller ground-floor rental apartment that we also own; I’ve had more than enough of this third-floor dump and the awful neighbors.

Thing is, there’s no telephone in the small apartment yet, and I’m not inclined to have one put in with DSL just to pay more fees to get it moved in another couple of weeks when I finally move into mine. So I’ll most likely be online only sporadically if at all for the next two or three weeks.

I’m sure MODx will manage to survive for that short a period of time without me

Hope all goes well Susan. Don’t go stir crazy. Maybe find a wifi location in town somewhere.

It will, but it will not be easy. And you will be missed, since you belong to the group of the most helpfull people I know about. (Some others are also in this forum).

Yeah Ryan is right, be careful with your back, I know mine suffered a bit when I moved 2 years ago...

We’ve got plenty of help, we’ve got a teenager from downstairs making a few shekels and also the worker who is doing the renovations is helping with the heavy stuff. All I’m doing is throwing stuff in boxes. Almost done now; maybe one more trip (he’s got a big Land Rover 4x4, great for running around in the desert or hauling stuff).

I think a rest for a couple of weeks with no Internet will be good for me.
