I hope everyone is helping Mozilla break the Guinness Book of Records by downloading Firefox 3 today.

Anyway, there’s no existing record for software downloads to break.

Right now, I really don’t wanna be that GBoR person who’s gotta trawl through the download logs verifying the number of downloads

with 8 million download a day, it still can’t take over the annoying IE. Sigh!

I downloaded it yesterday, an hour after the official download time, it took just a minute I think. Everything look great and the pleasant improvement is the speed.

Does anyone else get the Mozilla Crash Reporter come up every time they close Firefox 3?

No. However, you might want to follow this and see if there’s any more action on it...

I had to go back to version 2. FF 3 (Mac) crashes on Ditto-fed pages in Hebrew. Something about the Hebrew in the introtext field just shuts it right down. Opera and Safari are fine, FF in Windows and FF 2 (Mac) are fine.
