any idea what versions of PHPBB are affected and in what way?

I have recently built a forum with phpBB3 (a real come back for phpBB as I had never liked the 2.x versions, but I have to say the 3.x version is pretty impressive so far one of the biggest surprise was templating, as easy as Phorum which is no small achievement !).

I’d suspect this is version 2.0, no alert on the phpBB3 forums...
