How do u test your website?

Even though i have a few years of experience in designing and developing websites, I could hardly come out with a bug-free site. Then I found out this site ’removed by moderator’ in one of the searches, which did a wonderful work in pointing out all my silly as well as critical bugs.

Being a developer I realized that nothing can replace human testing because end of the day the apps are being made for humans. While the level of accuracy may be a shade lower if you can compare it cost of expensive testing tools, the results and undeniably great. Thank a lot to the Team.

Looking to drum up business from bad designers?

Not sure that’s spam per se (no link), but it’s a one post (and now zero post lol) poster posting in the wrong forum (nothing to do with Commercial inquiry and bounties forum)... I am not moderator of the board but as a moderator of the french boards, I can move this so I moved it in Off topic until a moderator can decide what to do with it.

I don’t think it’s really spam, just shameless self promotion...

Indeed it’s spam. The hostname from the poster is mail2.xerago.com ... exactly the same as the maker of the tool. Too bad.

I’ve modified the post to remove the name. If the creator of the topic would like to contact me to discuss adding it back in I’m open to discussions. Trying to be sneaky like this is just bad form.

Too bad too as this looks like a great resource at a wonderful price, but I’m not too keen of clear and outright deceptive posts.

(Off topic posts don’t add to your post count ... Commercial inquiries is for individuals seeking help building sites, not an advertising forum for commercial services. Maybe we need one of those too ... probably so.)

I think it is better to have people just post inquiries and bounties. They will never read the commercial threads anyway--I have seen this on forum and classified site after another people just list and right there someone offers the exact same thing and nary the twain shall meet.

This gives me an idea for another marketing venture though...*remembers how much stuff he’s commited to already*
