Online Event Manager

I am looking for a High School reunion event manager... open source is best...
we are not a lot of people, only 40 so it should no be very complicated...
I thought of developing one (with MODx obviously) but I am quite busy and
it would be overkilled for these few people.

we need somewhere to chat and decide when, where and what we are going todo
and preferrably with something like a forum for out of sync communication...
