Well, I think so far Ryan et. al. have done a marvelous job keeping this whole structure quiet and friendly, from the forums to the core coders and developers. As far as names in source files, I was always under the impression that the only reason that was done was to make it clear who to go to for support if there were problems. Or at any rate that’s why I put my name in anything I do.

Yeah, I’ve thought that as well. But I think I agree with their point - the idea is to eliminate that dependency, so that there is a shared knowledge of the code, rather than it being relegated (and therefore dependent) on that one person.
