Eventlog size

Hi,

I just noticed today that on two sites I have running, the manager_log size was 16Mb on one and 32Mb on the other. Sites been up and running respectively 6 month an 14 month. Both sites seemed to respond somewhat lazy, thats how I found these log file values.
Anyway, is there a way to set a maximum value on the log files?

No; you need to clean this table out periodically, or write a plugin to do it -- perhaps when users login periodically you could check a system setting with a unix timestamp that says hey, time to truncate the manager_log table...

Will I crash the site if I simply delete the event_log table? Mine is over 40 megabytes and was backed up recently.
