Dabble DB is a web-based application that lets you work with data on your own terms. You can import data from spreadsheets or databases — or just start from scratch. Then build your own application as you like and extend it or change it as you go. Dabble lets you restructure and redefine how you organize your data on a whim.

It’s a way to build free Dabble databases under a Creative Commons license. Functionally, it’s the same as our paid service except that data you keep in a free application is publicly accessible.

Pretty amazing. I assumed that you’d have to look at ads to use it, but the idea of requiring the commercial subscription for private data is a stroke of genius.
I wonder if Google has tried to buy them yet.
