In our design we often use a intro text above the normal content. Many say that for SEO you need to use standard markup like <p> and <h1> etc I use <h1> for my title <p> for my content and <h2> for subtitle, I used <em> for intro text but Tiny uses this for italic, thats ok by me but what would be a good mark-up to use that Google recognize it as an intro text/description kind of field.
before We use a lot of custom classes, but we want it to be SEO as mutch as possible could I use <em class="introtext"> for this or is there another tag that is better for this?

I use [tt]<p class="introtext">[/tt] when I need to. But most of the time [tt]introtext[/tt] doesn’t give me enough control so I don’t even use it.
I’ll create a TV with widget HTML Generic Tag and set it to ’p’ and class ’introtext’ so that if users don’t specify an intro text I won’t have an empty container in my markup.
