    Hello,

    Question # 1

When following installation instructions of Revolution (official documentation, fresh installation), it reads:

    1. Make sure the directories "/[root]", "/core/packages","/core/cache", and "/core/export" are writable. (root will be the actual directory you are installing to.)
    2. Make sure "/manager", "/connectors" are writable. If installing advanced, this is unnecessary.

    etc...

After install, should I remove public rewrite permissions to some of these directories?
    I did so for:

    /[root]
    /manager
    /connectors

    Is this correct?

    Question # 2

When I first tried to install a package (TinyMce), I saw an error output in the console, saying I hadn’t been able to create /assets/components/

So, I went ahead and created /assets and gave it write permissions to install the package, and the package installed just fine.

This is something I didn’t have to do in Evolution (creating the /assets) directory.

What permissions should it have? (I mean the /assets directory?)

Is it safe if it has 777?

Thank you for your answers to these two questions:
