Weebly and Wetpaint

I was wondering if anyone else has looked at/played with weebly (weebly.com) or wetpaint (wetpaint.com) and what your thoughts were. I thought weebly looked especially attractive.

Both are online site makers that require you to log into their servers to change.

Weebly is a pretty way of making some fairly basic websites, online. Yes, sure there are "complex" bits like Google Maps and flkr feeds, but you’re limited to what pre-programmed things you can drag onto the page.

"Allowing a user to copy and paste HTML/Javascript code is contrary to our usability and design principles -- instead of having a user copy and paste code, we’ll add that user’s code as an element, so that all users can benefit from this functionality."

Wetpaint looks more interesting, as it is not static, but most of the comments on the decent sites are from other Wetpaint users who want to know how they made their site look so nice.

It is easy to edit and add pages. Possibly a little too easy - some of the sites seem to let random users add pages - which is one thing in a wiki, quite another when you can add things willy-nilly into the menu.

I would be interested to know what people think the benefits of either site are.
