Clipboard not working

Using Firefox as browser, tried to cut,paste,copy text and pictures on my web site but recieved message "browser security does not allow this function, use keyboard" This happens whether I use right click or the cut paste icons .This does not happen when editing using IE is there a fix that you may know?

followed all the instructions but still wont work! is firefox always this much of a pain?

Any other thoughts on how to resolve this problem? short of going back to IE

If you are not comfortable with Firefox, use IE... its that simple!

gee and I thought by using YOUR EDITOR FOR MY WEB SITE you might actually have suggestions

Maybe you can answer why YOUR WEB EDITOR might not work with Firefox. Cant cut,paste,copy but it will work with IE. Before getting a smart a** answer like the last one maybe you have run into this before and have a solution? >:(

yikes! you are at like a 387998 on the anger meter... I need you to bring it down to a 2 or less.
First, direct your anger to the appropriate channel. This is not even MODx’s editor as you wrongly claim. It is TinyMCE by default, but other 3rd party plugins like FCK editor also exist for MODx.

Why don’t you figure out WHICH EDITOR YOU ARE USING and contact the authors of that rich text editor.

MODx’s editor is what I am using for my web site and was directed HERE for support. Why does the cut and paste not work when I edit my web site while using Firefox as my browser

What editor are you talking about?
Do you mean the *Content area when you create a new document (that is either TinyMCE or FCKeditor)? Do you mean the textarea you see when you edit or create a chunk, snippet, or plugin (that is just a form <textarea>)? Are you talking about a front end editor in either QuickEdit or the NewsPublisher snippet?

Please be specific. And if you could post which version of MODx you are using, the operating system you are using when you having the pasting problems, and your server stats (Apache, PHP, and MySQL versions)
