Site Speed Analysis

I would like to know how long it will take specific pages on my site to load using a 56.6k modem. I tried http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ but it either times out or says the page returned no data (even though I am cutting and pasting it). Are there any other free solutions? Maybe an extension for FireFox?

I found sloppy - http://www.dallaway.com/sloppy/ but I’m not sure how accurate it is. Easy to use though. Any thoughts?

I’ve always been using the tool of websiteoptimization.com (part of the Web Developer Toolbar in FX), and I’ve never had any trouble with it, perhaps you want to give the url as well? There aren’t too many sites around that give as detailed stas as that one does, as far as I know.

Every time I’ve tried to use it in the last couple of months it’s either been unreachable or too slow and times out. I don’t think that will change much for me.

Websiteoptimization works alright for me, but I access it directly from the Webdevelopper Extension for FF (Tools > View Speed Report).

The FF extension is how I originally tried it and failed. Then I gave up with it for a couple of weeks. Then recently I entered the URL directly instead. Every time I just could not get anywhere. Oh well.

Oops, I did retry and indeed it doesn’t work anymore... tried it two weeks ago it was fine...
