Smooth Slideshow 2.0 : slideshow now based on MooTools

For those who knew Smooth Slideshow, based on moo.fx, you’ll be glad to know that it’s rewritten based on mootools with great additions :

New Features in 2.0

* All the code is now wrapped in objects. In other words, you can now add more than one slideshow to the same webpage.
* JonDesign’s SmoothSlideshow now center images in the viewport. This way you can use different image ratio in the same slideshow.
* JDSS now uses mootools instead of moo.fx and prototype.lite.js (but don’t worry, there is still a version using moo.fx available ;-))
* Some graphical changes (yeah everyone wants to look cool )
* And last but not least, a lot of bugfixes.

One thing I like about Smooth Slideshow was and is, the Timed mode (few have both timed and controls mode), which is demonstrated here.

One question, I admit I haven’t looked at the code yet, but is it possible to make it accessible for users with JS disabled?

Works great if you have JS enabiled I can attest. If you don’t, I think you just won’t see the slideshow, but you could put up a single image in the DIV that has it’s content area replaced... semi-accessible I suppose...

Well, I downloaded it a few months ago and toyed with it a bit, it’s nice
But it’s a gallery not a slideshow...

Ajax it’s good but if you do not have the reflex to click on option link you miss something.

Ok I have not been clear enough, I know you can create a slideshow from a gallery, but what I needed here was a slideshow embedded permanently in the website...
