A flash-based WYSIWYM/Smarty CMS? Nice. But $249 per site license is a non-starter, even forever. Not so much the price, but the "it won’t work online unless you pay" part.
I don’t want to get involved with anything that isn’t open-source. I’ll happily pay for and use commercial desktop software, but I’m a web developer and I really don’t want any Zend-encoded stuff at the heart of my website. If I can’t tailor everything myself to my needs, I don’t want to know.
If I was looking for a CMS for my own use, I might consider it. But there’s no community of extensions like MODx has.
I’m wary of CMSes that don’t use their own CMS for their blog.

If people want to contribute towards a flash-based manager interface, one can be written for MODx.
