[solved] cross-browser css issue

my first modx site is structurally complete, but there’s one problem i haven’t solved yet: why a specific div won’t fill up 100% of the page height. the divs inside this one fill up 100% no problem. the kicker is that it works successfully in IE but not in Firefox.

the problem can be seen visually by the shadows on the left & right of the content area that flow down to the bottom of the page in IE but not in Firefox. when i checked with the Firefox developer toolbar (outlining block level elements), that div (id="wrapper") stops well short of the bottom of the page.

You might try putting an extra block container (like an extra <div></div>) that is styled with "clear:both" just before the closing wrapper div tag.
