I am looking for a tool that I can use to keep track of project all graphic/dtp related projects.

I looked at phprojekt ( www.phprojekt.com ) but its lacking an option to greate invoices (I looked at the plugin but its not what i look for)

What I look for is a program that can hold my clients in a database keep track of document made for that client and generate invoices (for the whole project but also prints I made time I spent etc), keeps track of time spent for that client.

Does anyone know a opensource webbased aplication that does atleast those things?

Or if not opensource a good webbased aplication

I have herd of programms made for the graphical industry that handles all this but I can not find it. (I am not that good with google I think)

They’re indeed tough to find. Please let me know if you find anything worthwhile.

I have long looked for an opensource equivalent of BaseCamp, but to no avail... I wouldn’t know about invoice generation on top of that...

Egroupware, NetOffice, DotProject.... any of them has what it takes. phpCollab was the nicest of the bunch though, but it seems the dev has been dropped and it was too simple in many ways. NetOffice is phpCollab offspring, same qualities but same shortcomings...

There is a huge gap there... a MODx module would be just awesome tongue !

nice but 1 minus point for me: PHP5 is required if you wish to install and use activeCollab
            my server runs on php4

It sure is a minus, but given the scarcity of nice project management apps... This being said, ActiveCollab is an alpha.

Here is another interresting one :

              I’ll try it out soon...
