Everyone in the US needs to read this-- Our Politicians are trying to Sell The Internet To The Highest Bidder.

Please write your Representatives and stop this idiocy. If it isn’t stopped we will ALL be hurt by it. Only the Telecom Corporations will benefit.

The internet isn’t like a house I find it difficult to imagine exactly ’what’ people think might get sold.

Do you want your broadband company dictating to you what internet sites you can have access to? That’s what this is about.

Let’s say, for instance, that your dsl provider is Verizon. If this bill is passed, they then will have the right to censor out all VOIP sites that directly compete with them, so that all Verizon’s broadband users will not be able to see VOIP sites. And that’s just one example.
