Looks like this may well give Prototype a bit of a challange for its popularity. Smaller, and easy to write plugins for.

Weird that no one has followed up on this. When I did a search for jQuery on these forums, only this thread and a french one came up.

Probably because the MODx team has pretty much decided to go with MooTools, which is also very nice.

Yeah, I heard about that. Any insights as to why MooTools was chosen over jQuery? Not that I favor anyone of them, just interested.
