Revolution - Nice one

Ok today I finally took the plunge and installed my first revolution set up, and so far very impressed. Nice one!!!!

I was a bit worried there wasn’t going loads of extra ported over for revo, but i’m pleased see i was wrong and you guys seems to of done a great job getting alot of them added.

But a couple of things i want to check.

Ditto says it’s an alpha release and in the details it mentions it no longer in active development, does this mean I should be using something else?

Also is there anything available/planned similar to webloginpe as login is a bit basic. Need additional fields etc

Another snippet i couldn’t find was getField, is there anything similar or is there something built in to the core code?

Great work again on this release, can’t wait for the GA release so can roll out to client sites.

@Cipa, thanks for this, is there any chance you could explain what each line is doing. Really want to start creating my own snippets and stuff been tyring to get my head around it. Been holding off learning in evo because of revolution.

@allanb, great to see so much discussions have taken place. It sounds as if more can do with login but as you mentioned the addional fields was a great feature of wlpe. I’ll keep a close eye this discussion.

I just created a stripped down version of getField for Revo.
