Hey Anyone Noticed Modx.Com is for sale???

Ok i stumbled to the wrong domain when comming here and spotted that Modx.Com is now for sale, wondering if anyone has noticed???

Lol im not selling it i would give it to this project instead of selling it... I love modx and use it on various sites and support it 100%...

4 letter domain, that would be a nice donation

Shhhhhhsh...... if the site owner gets wind that he holds a domain name relevant to a major open source project the price will skyrocket! Maybe someone could buy the domain name quietly for us?

it’s still a 4 letter dot com, and it’s not a scrambled text domain like zvcx.com - if modxcms people want to buy it then perhaps a member fund could be setup . . . for the goal of buying it.

If everyone wants to chip in, then count me in for sure... it’s not uncommon for people to pool funds to make acquisitions, in fact, sooner rather than later is probably advisable since the it’s value in 12 months time will presumably reflect the cms success

I have already emailed them to ask what price range they are looking for. I didn’t go into any details as why or who it was for.

If I get a response, I’ll be sure to let you know.

I’m guessing there might just be a zero involved for every letter of the domain name. At least three for sure.

Plus an extra zero for every person who has shown an interest in it
