Well, as far as that goes, I am intensively studying Javascript and Ajax with a view to (eventually) being able to supply nice apps such as a new-and-improved Document Manager. Reading Ajax in Action at the moment, and I have a sinking feeling that I’d better spend a couple of weeks in a serious study of advanced, OO-based Javascript. But it should all be well worth it. A nice Ajax-based template, snippet, module and plugin installer system would be nice, no? This old gray mare may not be what she used to be, but she’ll still get there eventually grin

Well, that would be us frenchies of course, but there’s nothing like drinking champaign@the source, if you want the real stuff (my offer was : next time you are in Paris, I am inviting !). Believe it or not, big reknowned brands of champaign is not always the best !

That’s not that expensive, since it’s not shared hosting but dedicated servers... in France for the same price you have lesser servers, with half the RAM and 1,6 GHz insted of 2,4GHz...

Yeah we sure need to... I’ve been doing this intensively on the french side (and I don’t know how many french users among MODx forum users, but I guess a bunch of them since this thread is 6th among Top 10 topics grin

), and when we’ll have marketing plans done, I can start roaming every forum to defend the MODx Flag

One nice thing would be to get some influencers to use MODx, like we did with John Hicks for Textpattern... this has helped tremendously back when we started...
