I’m having flash backs

I remember TRS-80s with 5 1/4 floppy disks. The single sided ones that we used to use hole punchers to make double sided.

Also, the PET machines and cassette backups. ughhhhhhhhhhhhh Now, talk about unreliable media.

LOl Trash 80’s.... I remember getting a ZX Spectrum 81, loaded the Hobbit game from cassette tape and it would take 5 min while I watched the pretty lines flash on the screen and listened to the high pitch squeal of the tape.... ahhhh those were the days

And I remember my first computer, Sinclair ZX81 and its tiny 1 Kb of RAM (lol)... Yet I somewhat miss the excitement of the early days, or maybe it’s because I was nine when I got that one, who knows !

My first one the Sega Sanyo SC3000.
Some years later I got the fantastic AMSTRAD CPC464 I think everybody knows

I miss being able to hack a game like wizadry and get "god status" or even just put my name on the splash screen before letting my friends play.

errr, what was that stupid game that answered you .... LYSA or something like that. Always would answer with something irrelevant until you hacked it and insert the word smurf for everything

ahhh, I just remembered by magazines and then spending hours typing in the games in the back only to loose them every once in a while because of a back cassette tape.

lolo, yes, being 9 years old and playing with new technolog is something really really exciting.
