Flock Web Browser

Has anyone else tried Flock yet? It seems to be built on Mozilla’s Gecko rendering engine, and uses firefox plug-ins, including the web developer plug-in (which I am dependant on in FireFox) and severa others. It is smooth, clean, and damn pretty. It sounds like this browser is going to be makings some waves.

Interesting. Being the paranoid that I am, however, I’m not overly fond of its storing my preferences and what-have-you on anybody’s external server. I’ll stick to Firefox and Camino. But this does look like a really good IE killer for the average Web newbie.

I have been testing it for two weeks.

I like they take the web’s evolution into account be it blogging, social bookmarking, picture sharing... the del.icio.us integration to handle bookmarks is cool... XMLRPC editor for blogging is basic but hey, it’s a start and a nice idea.

Yet FF plugins have to be adapted and that’s a downer, the strength of FF is plugins.
But yeah I’ll be following their progress...

I really like the default skin. I wish I could get it for FireFox 1.5RC2!!!
