C/C++ developers may be interested to know that, after a long beta-testing period, the first Release Candidate of Code::Blocks 1 has been released.

Code::Blocks is an Open Source cross-platform IDE supporting multiple compilers (including GCC/MinGW, Visual C++ Free Toolkit 2003, Borland C++ etc.) and multiple OSs (now Windows and Linux). Written in C++ with the wxWidgets library, it is fast, light, powerful and extensible; and, in my experience, it is very stable too! (Quite the opposite than DevCpp, then grin)

Since RC1 has been released they are asking to promote the project; I am really pleased to do that, also because I promoted MODx on their forum when they were about to release their new website, some days ago (but unfortunately I was too late :’( ) Btw, try to guess which is the IDE I wrote the last version of FotoReporter with wink
