I have to say that while it’s neat that Micro$oft’s version works right in the browser (even Firefox!) - it pales in comparison to
Google Earth. And oh yeah- mapquest doesn’t have a prayer. I almost feel bad for them. I used them exclusively for a long time. But
Google maps is just that much better. Guess that’s the internet for you- innovate or die.

http://www.theregister.co.uk has a couple of interesting things to say about this; specifically that the images don’t show the Apple headquarters, just a vacant field, and the image of NYC still has the WTC buildings.
