Hi,
My host is upgrading from PHP 5.2.9 to 5.3 in a few weeks.
I got this message from them
Please ensure your scripts are compatible. PHP 5.3 breaks with the convention of new PHP versions being "backwards compatible" with earlier versions of PHP. the "ereg" function is just one which is "deprecated".
Script that use depreciated functions will break.
Will Modx still work?
I have a few Zen-cart sites and i know i have to upgrade those to the new version released last week :’(
I hade no trouble with core install of Evo 1.0.2 or 1.0.3
I only used Wayfinder snippet still OK
I had problems with WebloginPE depreciated functions.
Solution on WebloginPE forum
I would suggest you check your add-ons.

I know there was an issue with DirectResize 0.8 plugin but I’m also sure you can prevent deprecated errors from displaying just not sure how to do it!

Hi
I tried various ways to get PHP 5.3 to ignore depreciated errors all to no avail.
@OpenGeek stated it was possible but it did not work for me.
It was easier to fix error as would only return to bite me when PHP 6 is ready.
