lolo, another 3am post. I meant javascript which was referring to Susan’s post where she wrote, "if you don’t mind the javascript".

I was wondering what she meant by that.

lol ... I knew what you meant re: Javascript... I just couldn’t find a "negative" post in a quick glance.

There’s a tiny bit of overhead in dynamically attaching the behaviors via the DOM and if the user has JS disabled it won’t work.

But then again...there’s that other 10% due to the schmucks that think JavaScript is pure evil! "DIE! DIE! DIE! Hail ActiveX!!" LOL!

With Ajax now on the scene, I’d say that Javascript is going to start playing an even bigger role. Look at what Google is doing with it... amazing stuff!

Javascript has enough drawbacks to make me hesitant to use it just for eye candy. I would never even consider inflicting the abomination that is ActiveX on anyone. Even if I wanted to, it would be a bit awkward, since I use Macs.
