Copy and paste in firefox

Man am I the only one having problems with that?
sometimes i get content send to by mail that I need to paste in an EtoX site using a mac with firefox this pasting out of an external program is not posible says a popup from firefox than it gives me a posibility to go to the firfox site to an article that explanse how to enable it but that link is not working. AHHHH Could somone pleas explain me how to enable this so that I can paste instead of rewrite the story in the editor.

I don't get it...I copy/paste all the time into a number of remote sites with Etomite or ModX manager, from mail, from editors, from other web sites, with no problem at all; also Firefox on Mac. What am I missing here?

firefox gives me the foloing error:

Unpriveliged scripts can not acces Cut/Copy/Paste programaticallly because of security reasens. click OK to....

It only happens when pasting in the WYSIWYG end of the editor when you switch over to code past is not a problem

I did have some problems with the WYSIWYG editors when I got clever and downloaded a version of Firefox that was supposed to be specially compiled for Mac to be faster or something (I forget exactly what the advantage was supposed to be), but when I threw it out and went back to the one available from Mozilla I had no more trouble. Right now, I'm on Firefox 1.0.2 and OS X 10.3.9.

that link worked but what if you want to set it in a global way for all the sites?

I tryed and did not find anything on that on the internet so i tryed dooing som editing of this user.js myself

just add these 2 lines in that script and it works on all sites!!

user_pref("capability.policy.default.Clipboard.cutcopy", "allAccess");
user_pref("capability.policy.default.Clipboard.paste", "allAccess");
